Some People's Kids

You would think living in a small town you would feel safe and secure and parents, in the town, would have the time to teach their children good morals. Wishful thinking.

Here's our story........ When it's game night, which one of them was tonight, Courtney leaves for school at 8am and doesn't get home until after 8pm (school, drill/cheer practice, and then Freshman, JV and Varsity games) so, of course, I'm concerned about her getting something to eat between games. I asked her last night if she had money, left over from other games, to get something at the concession stand for dinner. She told me she had plenty (don't know exact amount). Kelly and I usually go but we didn't go tonight. Anyway, Danielle comes home after their Drill Team halftime performance (she is not a cheerleader so she doesn't have to stay and cheer at the game) and informs me that Courtney got her money stolen out of her wallet in the locker room. Yes, for you mothers out there, I AM PISSED. What do you do??? When Courtney got home tonight I asked her about it and she told me that another Drill/Cheer member got her money stolen as well. She said that they reported it to the Principal and there was nothing else they could do. So, needless to say, the little Bathturds got their thrill and will brag about it at school (hopefully when I am subbing their class, hehe). Buy them books, send them to school.....................

If I was a big brother I would totally track that kid down and kick his ass. Unfortunately for Court I am only a wussy big sister so all I can do is curse them. And believe me Bathturds is not the word I used, lalala.
